'I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few weeks as Headteacher at Christ Church Primary School – the time has really flown by.  As in all schools, there is always a lot to do, but I feel very supported by all the staff working at the school.  It’s the children that really make a school though and I’ve been very impressed with the warm, friendly and enthusiastic nature of the pupils at Christ Church.  They really care about the school and I’ve had the pleasure to work with the School / Eco- Council already and I’ve seen how responsible and committed they are to improving their school.  All of this helps to create the ‘special atmosphere’ that many visitors comment on.'
Clive Wilson - Headteacher'One of the highlights of the Term was my ‘Commissioning Service’ (to welcome me officially to the post of Headteacher) held at the church on the 13th January.'

'It was a privilege to be at the centre of the Service and I was touched by the welcome that I received from across the whole community – the pupils, staff, parents, governors, church and diocesan representatives and the Local Authority.  It was lovely, also, to be accompanied by my wife and parents who have supported me in teaching for many years.  The Service will stay in my memory for many years to come and I look forward to many more celebrations and occasions that link the school with the church.'
