We have excellent teams managing our work amongst children, youth and families.

We see our mission in terms of reaching out to all who will hear the good news of Jesus, and to that extent, everything that we do is mission orientated.

Scripture is the key base from which we work, as it is God’s word to every generation.  As we love God first, so in deed and word, we reach out to show that love to others.

We are here to encourage spiritual growth, and will prayerfully and practically support any who are willing to listen and respond to God’s call on their life.

Whether you are on holiday, passing through or looking to join a church family, we will be delighted to welcome you to any of our variety of services.

To our Church Family...The new Christ Church Website brings lots of useful features that will help us to stay informed and to stay in touch with each other.

This is especially important at a time such as this, when we are going through a Vacancy period.

To gain the most benefit from the site, we need Church Members to sign up.  This involves Registering with the website and providing some basic contact info.

The reason we need you to register is that some news and information is only for Church Members’ use – so we are able to control it by only letting members access it when they are logged in using their unique username and password.

As well as many new features within the site, we now have a facebook page and a twitter feed.  Click the links to ‘follow’ or ‘Like’ us using those services.

Christ Church and Emmanuel Church will be holding a joint Week of Prayer between the above dates. During this period, we will be encouraging each church member to commit some time to pray and to seek God’s will for:

* The Vacancy situation and interviews (20th/21st).
* The needs of our Parish, Town and Nations.
* Our lives and individual roles in His Church.
